New Hampshire's Virtual Town Hall
School districts throughout the state are readying new policies for the new bullying law that goes into effect on Jan. 1.
"If there are kids who have been either witness to or victims of or parties guilty of bullying, they're going to perhaps notice some different kinds of responses from the adults," Salem School Superintendent Michael Delahanty said to the Eagle-Tribune.
A bill passed earlier this year requires schools to train staff about bullying and have policies that clearly define what it is, and expands school officials' reach to incidents that happen online or outside the classroom, but affect a student's ability to learn.
See the Eagle-Tribune story for a full report on how some school districts are getting ready for the new law.
