New Hampshire's Virtual Town Hall
A key House committee voted Thursday to take off the table repeal of the state’s same-sex marriage law for this legislative session.
The 15-0 vote of the House Judiciary Committee effectively means two bills (HB 343 and HB 437) repealing the 2009 law won’t return to the full House of Representatives until early next year.
There was no debate in committee about the move.
Foes and supporters of same-sex marriage wanted the House to act definitively on repeal this spring.

OK, I know this quote has been drug out and abused a bit but I felt it was relevant here...Therefore, likewise, to me I find it of no offense that a man or woman should find an attraction to one of the same sex. Personally I am not gay but I do know those who are in the LGBT lifestyles. Over the coarse of time I have observed that those that live their lives out in the open are far less dangerous to society than most. No they are not the wild eyed perverts that society painted them to be in years past. They have no interest in our children or our youth. They wish to live their lives quietly with a partner they have chosen to spend their life with. Exclusively I might add. To call it anything less than a marriage would be a tragedy. The act of binding two hands together in a loving relationship regardless of their sexual orientation is a beautiful thing. Did marriage become such an issue that we were willing to litigate who could enter into and benefit from such a contract? One of the reasons I moved to this state was because of its motto "Live Free or Die". I'm sure these words are meant for all who reside here and not just for those who view themselves as above the common people, peasants, or pagans.
