Senate vote May 12

HB 1486, the sprinkler bill will be taken up for a vote by the full Senate on May 12th, 2010.

The bill prohibits any mandate that would require automated sprinkler systems in one and two-family homes. The Senate's Public and Municipal Affairs Committee on April 29 decided unanimously to recommend the bill as "ought to pass" to the full Senate. The bill has already cleared the House.
