Property Tax for a Scenic View

Throughout the last couple of years, state tax assessors have considered including a house’s view as they calculate its taxable value. The state argues that a homeowners’ view is a part of what people pay for, even though the state has no clear definition of what as view is, while critics argue that homeowners own a house and not the view or potential view.
