New Hampshire ranks 43rd in the nation for driver knowledge

New Hampshire ranks 43rd in the nation for driver knowledge, according to the GMAC
Insurance National Drivers Test.

Of the New Hampshire drivers who took the online driver's test, 22.5 percent failed. The average score of a Granite State drivers was 74.9 percent, slightly above the passing grade of 70.

New Hampshire's ranking in this survey has fallen considerably over the past three years (2009 - ranked 33rd - avg score of 75.9; 2008 - ranked 30th - avg. score of 77.9).
