A reply to a post by LFDA Member Claude Roessiger entitled "The End of our Democracy"

By Paul Montrone Claude and Tim--I definitely agree with many of your thoughts, but I do not believe our democracy is dying.  I think it is the opposite; we may have too much democracy. Since our country began, the U.S. has always had strong political parties and differences, but in the past party leaders had more influence on candidates, issues and when to compromise.  In retrospect, this may have been a better deal for our citizens.  Today, there is complete chaos, even within the political…See More

"Teens are dangerous drivers at best. Insurance rates tell the story. It's not the teen's fault, they are just being teens.  We should be making it more difficult for a teen to get a license, not easier."

Thank you Mr. Montrone. A very happy holiday and new year to you and your family as well. Also, a heartfelt thank you to yourself and others from the Henley Group days. While I was "just a security guard" there at the time, being around the folks there inspired me to finish my education as I realized I wanted to be able to support a family some day and have a successful career. I've always considered my time there as the foundation of the success and happy family life I've had!  Thank you again.
